But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were [so] far away, through (by, in) the blood of Christ have been brought near. AMP

But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. KJV

The cup of blessing [of wine at the Lord's Supper] upon which we ask [God's] blessing, does it not mean [that in drinking it] we participate in and share a fellowship (a communion) in the blood of Christ (the Messiah)? The bread which we break, does it not mean [that in eating it] we participate in and share a fellowship (a communion) in the body of Christ? AMP

If we have sown [the seed of] spiritual good among you, [is it too] much if we reap from your material benefits? AMP

If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things? KJV

HOWEVER, BRETHREN, I could not talk to you as to spiritual [men], but as to nonspiritual [men of the flesh, in whom the carnal nature predominates], as to mere infants [in the new life] in Christ [unable to talk yet!] AMP

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. KJV
