AND GOD pronounced a blessing upon Noah and his sons and said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. AMP

Here is [room for] discernment [a call for the wisdom of interpretation]. Let anyone who has intelligence (penetration and insight enough) calculate the number of the beast, for it is a human number [the number of a certain man]; his number is 666. AMP

But whatever former things I had that might have been gains to me, I have come to consider as [one combined] loss for Christ's sake. AMP

But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. KJV

Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever]. AMP

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. KJV
