And as He saw one single leafy fig tree above the roadside, He went to it but He found nothing but leaves on it [seeing that in the fig tree the fruit appears at the same time as the leaves]. And He said to it, Never again shall fruit grow on you! And the fig tree withered up at once. AMP

And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. KJV

Therefore, Jesus said to Peter, Put the sword [back] into the sheath! The cup which My Father has given Me, shall I not drink it? AMP

Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it? KJV

And yet [in spite of all this] many even of the leading men (the authorities and the nobles) believed and trusted in Him. But because of the Pharisees they did not confess it, for fear that [if they should acknowledge Him] they would be expelled from the synagogue AMP

Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: KJV

And looking up to heaven, He sighed as He said, Ephphatha, which means, Be opened! AMP

And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. KJV

Saying, If we had lived in the days of our forefathers, we would not have aided them in shedding the blood of the prophets. AMP

And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. KJV
