And the Lord regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved at heart. AMP

And after this one rose up Judas the Galilean, [who led an uprising] during the time of the census, and drew away a popular following after him; he also perished and all his adherents were scattered. AMP

For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled (ranked below others who are honored or rewarded), and he who humbles himself (keeps a modest opinion of himself and behaves accordingly) will be exalted (elevated in rank). AMP

For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. KJV

He further told them a proverb: Can a blind [man] guide and direct a blind [man]? Will they not both stumble into a ditch or a hole in the ground? AMP
