Now the day began to decline, and the Twelve came and said to Him, Dismiss the crowds and send them away, so that they may go to the neighboring hamlets and villages and the surrounding country and find lodging and get a supply of provisions, for we are here in an uninhabited (barren, solitary) place. AMP

And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place. KJV

But He said to them, You [yourselves] give them [food] to eat. They said, We have no more than five loaves and two fish--unless we are to go and buy food for all this crowd, [II Kings 4:42-44.] AMP

But he said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy meat for all this people. KJV

IN THOSE days when [again] an immense crowd had gathered and they had nothing to eat, Jesus called His disciples to Him and told them AMP

In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them, KJV

And when they could not get him to a place in front of Jesus because of the throng, they dug through the roof above Him; and when they had scooped out an opening, they let down the [thickly padded] quilt or mat upon which the paralyzed man lay. AMP

And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. KJV

And when a very great throng was gathering together and people from town after town kept coming to Jesus, He said in a parable: AMP

And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable: KJV

But being aware of this, Jesus went away from there. And many people joined and accompanied Him, and He cured all of them AMP

But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; KJV

[Just] as He drew near the gate of the town, behold, a man who had died was being carried out--the only son of his mother, and she was a widow; and a large gathering from the town was accompanying her. AMP

Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. KJV

The group that had been with Jesus when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from among the dead kept telling it [bearing witness] to others. AMP

The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record. KJV

And immediately all the crowd, when they saw Jesus [returning from the holy mount, His face and person yet glistening], they were greatly amazed and ran up to Him [and] greeted Him. AMP

And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him. KJV

Even in [the light of] these words they with difficulty prevented the people from offering sacrifice to them. AMP

And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them. KJV
