Lorie B. heard about Top Verses during the morning talk show on a local radio station (WRMB) and asked for more information about the people behind the site. In response to her request, here is a bit more information about me.

My name is Peter Chapman, I live in Sydney, Australia with my wife and 3 (nearly 4) young children, and I set up Top Verses in September 2007. It started with a program to count and rank Bible references across the internet. Top Verses was initially set up to share the rankings, before I realised how much they improve the search experience!

The analysis was automated so the rankings are truly democratic and cannot reflect any personal or denominational bias. I love this about the site, and the idea that Top Verses encourages more people to read scriptures for themselves.
