For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, (NIV)

For I passed on to you first of all what I also had received, that Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for our sins in accordance with [what] the Scriptures [foretold], [Isa. 53:5-12.] (AMP)

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; (KJV)

Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. (NIV)

I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. (NIV)

But I tell you this, brethren, flesh and blood cannot [become partakers of eternal salvation and] inherit or share in the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable (that which is decaying) inherit or share in the imperishable (the immortal). (AMP)

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. (KJV)

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed – (NIV)

Take notice! I tell you a mystery (a secret truth, an event decreed by the hidden purpose or counsel of God). We shall not all fall asleep [in death], but we shall all be changed (transformed) (AMP)

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, (KJV)

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. (NIV)

But the fact is that Christ (the Messiah) has been raised from the dead, and He became the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep [in death]. (AMP)

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. (KJV)

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (NIV)

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose]. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (KJV)

For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. (NIV)

For just as [because of their union of nature] in Adam all people die, so also [by virtue of their union of nature] shall all in Christ be made alive. (AMP)

So it is written: "The first Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. (NIV)

For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. (NIV)
